School-Based Clinician/Consultant

Heartland Early Education, Salina

Monday through Friday

REQUIREMENTS:
* Experience providing therapy to children ages zero to five preferred.
* Master’s Degree in Counseling or related field with Clinical Licensure or working toward Clinical Licensure under a BSRB-approved plan required.
DUTIES:
Under supervision of the Health Services Coordinator, the School-Based Clinician/Consultant is responsible for providing early childhood mental health therapy to children and families, focusing on families with children ages zero to five. Other duties this position will assist with are the following:
* Implement strategies to identify and support children with mental health and social/emotional concerns.
* Consult with classroom staff to improve classroom management and practices.
* Conduct observations and consultations (at school or in the home) to address needs and creating physical and cultural environments that promote positive mental health and social/emotional functioning.
SALARY:
Based on years of experience and education.
Classified Salary Schedule – Range 33.
Pay ranges from $28.10/hr – $29.83/hr.
