Exline, Inc. is looking for a detail-driven and mechanically minded Manual Machinist to join our dynamic team in Salina, Kansas. Responsibilities:

  • Set up and operate engine lathes, boring mills, and other manual machine tools

  • Utilize your CNC knowledge to assist with automated machining tasks when needed

  • Read and interpret complex blueprints and technical drawings

  • Perform precision machining on critical components with tight tolerances

  • Inspect finished parts for quality, accuracy, and craftsmanship

  • Contribute to a clean, organized, and safety-first workspace

Experience:

  • 1–2 years of CNC machining experience (in addition to manual machining)

  • Confidence in setting up and running manual machine tools

  • Ability to read and follow technical drawings and specifications

  • Strong attention to detail and pride in high-quality workmanship

  • A team-first attitude with excellent problem-solving skills

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Manual Machinist

  • 1–2 years of CNC machining experience (in addition to manual machining)

  • Knowledge of machine tool set-up and operation

  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications

  • Strong attention to detail and precision

  • Excellent problem-solving skills

  • A team-first attitude and willingness to learn

Working Conditions:

The work environment includes regular exposure to:

  • Moving mechanical parts

  • Loud noise from machine tools

  • Occasional exposure to heat, dust, metal particles, and cutting fluids

  • Standard safety procedures, PPE, and equipment are provided and required

Physical Requirements:

  • Regularly required to stand for extended periods, walk, reach, and handle tools

  • Frequent bending, stooping, kneeling, or climbing may be required

  • Must be able to lift and move up to 50 lbs regularly and occasionally lift heavier items with assistance

  • Visual acuity to read measurements, operate machinery, and perform detailed inspections
