Department: Inpatient
Schedule: Full Time (72hr/per pay period)
Shift/Hours: 12 hour shifts (1845-0715); minimum every third weekend
Night Shift Differential $4.00 per hour
Job Details:
POSITION SUMMARY
Responsible for assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating the care
of surgical patients in accordance with the nursing process, medical plan of
care, established hospital and departmental policies and standards of care.
The RN/LPN will coordinate to achieve desired outcomes for the patient
and/or family. This nurse will provide leadership by delegating and working
cooperatively with ancillary nursing staff and other departments.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
Graduate of an accredited nursing school
Current valid Kansas RN/LPN License
One year medical-surgical experience preferred
CERTIFICATIONS
Current certification in cardiopulmonary resuscitation
ACLS and PALS certification
