PARK & FACILITY MAINTENANCE I
Age Requirement: 16 years or older
Pay: $12.73 – $14.73/hr. DOQ EOE
Duties:
• Prepare & maintain city ball fields, medians, & public facilities.
• Perform manual labor for facility & outdoor space upkeep including watering, weed removal, & fence repair.
• Provide custodial services such as cleaning & trash removal.
• Administer basic first aid when necessary.
Qualifications:
• Eighth grade graduate.
• CPR & First Aid certifications are a bonus.
• Experience with non-powered hand tools in landscape maintenance is preferred.
• Must be able to work in varying temperatures & communicate effectively.
PARK & FACILITY MAINTENANCE II
Age Requirement: 18 years or older
Pay: $14.04 – $16.04/hr. DOQ EOE
Duties:
• Oversee the park & facility maintenance tasks from Maintenance I level staff & perform equipment repairs.
• Engage in routine maintenance & safety inspections.
• Maintain facilities which includes seeding, mowing, & planting flowers.
Qualifications:
• Requires a high school diploma or equivalent.
• CPR & First Aid certifications desired.
• Requires one year of experience in a related field, with supervisory experience preferred.
• Must have a valid driver’s license & reliable transportation.
PARK & FACILITY MAINTENANCE III
Age Requirement: 18 years or older.
Pay: $15.48 – $17.48/hr. DOQ EOE
Duties:
• Supervise & maintain city ball fields & oversee daily operations & seasonal maintenance crews.
• Fulfill duties of Maintenance I & II staff as needed & inspect equipment safety.
Qualifications:
• Requires a high school diploma, with three years of related landscape maintenance experience.
• Supervisory experience & advanced equipment handling skills necessary.
• Must communicate well & present a professional attitude at all times.
General Requirements for All Positions
• Must possess a valid driver’s license (17+)
• Must pass background checks.
• Reliable transportation to & from work.
• Available to work shifts, attend necessary training, & review event calendars.
• Ability to lift 10-40 pounds frequently.
• Must follow safety program guidelines & be adaptable to indoor/outdoor working conditions.
