Administrative Assistant

Description The Administrative Assistant will provide a variety of duties to support effective day to day administrative functions.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Provide reliable and consistent administrative support to the organization.
  • Maintain confidentiality issues and release of information issues.
  • Provide coverage for the front reception area, including answering and relaying telephone calls when the Front Receptionist takes breaks, goes to lunch, or is absent.
  • Support in mail pickup and distribution.
  • Maintain accurate agency records.
  • Manage timely data collection, reviewing, analyzing, and filing of agency records.
  • Prepare and distribute reports or other communications as needed.
  • Assist in emergency evacuation procedures as described in Safety Manual.

 

ADDITIONAL JOB DUTIES:

  • Be aware of customer needs and provide quality customer service.
  • Know and be able to speak to OCCK’s mission and philosophy to the extent that casual conversation in the community can promote community awareness.
  • Perform ad hoc job duties as assigned
Position Requirements MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: (Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.)

  • Must have at least 2 years clerical or related experience.
  • Must have excellent oral communication skills.
  •  Must have the ability to organize and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Must have the ability to work with a diverse group of people in a team setting.

EDUCATION AND TRAINING:
